Michael D. Haight

The founding member and co-owner of Henness & Haight Injury Attorneys in Las Vegas, Nevada, Michael D. Haight stands as a steadfast advocate for the rights of individuals who have suffered injuries due to the negligent actions of others. Despite having been born in Tupper Lake, New York, Mr. Haight has called Las Vegas his home since 1976. He attended the University of Nevada and secured his B.A. in 1989 followed by his J.D. from Willamette University College of Law in Salem, Oregon. He is licensed to practice in Nevada (1995), the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Nevada, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court.

Mr. Haight dove deeply into trial practice after finishing law school. His early practice as a defense attorney focused on accident-causing drivers, giving him a unique perspective on the inner workings of insurance firms. He decided in 1998 to devote his career to helping victims of injury and has gone on to build a solid reputation since then.

A highly accomplished professional, Mr. Haight has been honored with the highest possible rating of AV Preeminent* through Martindale-Hubbell.
