Shlomo S. Sherman

Shlomo S. Sherman is the founder of Sherman Law, PLLC, located in Las Vegas, Nevada. He provides representation to people and businesses throughout Clark County in a variety of practice areas. In the field of creditors’ rights, he assists financial institutions, subprime lenders and other institutions by negotiating and drafting secured loan documents. Mr. Sherman also has experience in loan workouts and forbearance transactions, and he represents creditors in bankruptcy proceedings.

Mr. Sherman has also represented the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation in receivership proceedings involving failed financial institutions, and he has extensive experience in assisting businesses and their owners in complex commercial litigation involving contract breaches and other matters. Mr. Sherman has a transactional background as well, in which he prepares and reviews agreements involving mergers and acquisitions and day-to-day operations. In his estate planning practice, Mr. Sherman regularly prepares and reviews living, irrevocable, charitable, and other types of trusts. He does the same with wills and financial and health care powers of attorney. He also provides defense representation to people who have been charged with speeding or other traffic violations.

Mr. Sherman holds an advanced rabbinical degree from Central Yeshiva Tomchei Tmimim Lubavitz, having received that in 2001. He then decided to pursue a legal career, and he enrolled at Loyola Law School in Los Angeles. After being awarded his Juris Doctor in 2005, Mr. Sherman was an associate at a Las Vegas firm for nearly six years and then a shareholder at another Las Vegas firm for more than six years. Admitted to practice before all Nevada state courts, he opened Sherman Law, PLLC, in September 2017.
