Jason R. L. Major

A shareholder at the law firm of Lehmann Major List in Concord, attorney Jason R. L. Major serves clients throughout New Hampshire. With a primary focus on employment law, his professional interests also sway toward litigating matters that involve personal injury, civil rights, environmental contamination, insurance coverage disputes and other complex matters. 

Over his career spanning more than two decades, Mr. Major has handled a variety of employment law matters such as discrimination, wrongful termination, employment contracts, severance agreements, harassment, whistleblower actions, the Americans with Disabilities Act accommodations and employment retaliation matters. He advocated for the rights of employees before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the New Hampshire Commission for Human Rights.

After graduating cum laude with his bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, Mr. Major graduated among the top 10% in his class with his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in 2000. He obtained his license to practice in the state (2001) and federal courts of New Hampshire as well as in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit.

Mr. Major is actively affiliated with several legal organizations throughout New Hampshire such as the New Hampshire Bar Association, the New Hampshire Association for Justice, the New Hampshire Employment Lawyers and the Merrimack County Bar Association. Moreover, he was appointed to the New Hampshire Personnel Appeals Board by Governor Christopher Thomas Sununu.
