A partner at Pastori | Krans, PLLC, in Concord, New Hampshire, Robin Melone represents clients in matters of criminal law, Title IX and workplace investigations, and employment law. With over two decades of experience in representing both defendants and victims in criminal proceedings, she also acts as a negotiator and a client counselor when required. Throughout her career, she has tried more than 100 cases in both state and federal courts.
Upon receiving her bachelor’s degree in politics from Mount Holyoke College, Ms. Melone pursued a law degree at Suffolk University Law School. She earned her Juris Doctor in 2004 and, in the same year, was admitted to practice in New Hampshire. She is further licensed to practice in Massachusetts and before the U.S. District Courts for the District of New Hampshire.
Before entering private practice, Ms. Melone served as a New Hampshire public defender for a decade. This experience provides her with deeper insight into the criminal justice system. In her current practice, she represents clients in Title IX and other conduct proceedings through New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She has also completed training as a trauma-informed civil rights investigator, conducting neutral, victim-centered fact-finding into allegations of discrimination, harassment and civil rights abuses.
As a committed attorney, Ms. Melone is included in The Best Lawyers in America list for Criminal Defense: White Collar and Litigation, and Labor and Employment. She was awarded the Marilla M. Ricker Achievement Award in 2021 by the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association and the Champion of Justice Award in 2020 by the New Hampshire Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. She is a fellow of the American Bar Association and an active member of the New Hampshire Bar Association's Professional Conduct Committee.
