Mr. List has been admitted to practice in New Hampshire since 2015, and he is additionally admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire as well as before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit in Boston. 

Many of Mr. List’s clients are people who have valid employment claims against their current, past or prospective employers. He has litigated many cases in both state and federal court.  His cases have involved wrongful termination, violation of the Whistleblowers' Protection Act, and discrimination covered by multiple federal laws such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Pregnancy Discrimination Act. Mr. List’s experience in this regard has additionally encompassed representing victims of sexual harassment and people with wage claims against current or former employers. He has lectured extensively on these and other topics at legal seminars and continuing legal education courses. 

Mr. List also represents Federal Firearm Licensed dealers and individuals encountering legal issues involving firearms. He regularly gives presentations at businesses, shooting ranges, and other venues regarding firearms law and the use of self-defense. Mr. List’s criminal defense experience has included misdemeanor and felony offenses, ranging from driving while intoxicated to self-defense cases.   • Durgin v. State Farm- Docket No. 2014-CV-00125 (Merrimack Cty. Superior Court, 2015) (Verdict in favor of an insured wrongfully accused of arson- claim covered and insurer liable for attorneys’ fees)
  • Attorney List achieved a settlement of $360,000.00 for client in the federal case of Shaun Thompson v. Paul While Tile, Co. Inc.  The Plaintiff was a division manager who was stiffed a large amount of commission and then wrongfully terminated.  After the Defendant filed meritless counterclaims, Attorney List withdrew the Plaintiff's initial settlement offer of $170,000.00, and litigated the case for more than a year and a half. After Attorney List discovered a forged document and fabricated evidence, he retained a forensic document examiner and blew the lid off of the entire case.  Not only did Attorney List secure the dismissal of the counterclaims, he ultimately secured a settlement of more than double his client's initial offer.  , 2021
