She received the President’s Award in 2014 and the Board of Governor’s Award in 2015, both from the New Hampshire Association for Justice. Ms. Zimmerman currently served on the Board of Directions for the New Hampshire Association for justice, and served as the Association's president from 2016-2017.

    Ms. Zimmerman is also a member of the New Hampshire Women’s Bar Association, the American Association for Justice and the Manchester Bar Association. For many years, she practiced law near Fort Hood, Texas, and gained valuable experience in military matters. She is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Hampshire. She is also a member of the Collaborative Law Alliance of New Hampshire. Ms. Zimmerman has served as an instructor for multiple continuing legal education programs, and has published several scholarly writings throughout her career.
