Attorney Profile

William J. Amann brings more than 20 years of experience to his role as a partner at Braucher & Amann Attorneys at Law. During that time, he has developed core competencies across a wide range of cases, but he primarily focuses on bankruptcy, real estate and business. In some instances, one case spans all three areas. He has represented regional and national creditors and heads the North Andover, Massachusetts, office of the law firm.

New Hampshire admitted Mr. Amann to the state bar in 2001. However, the path he took to a law career began with a bachelor's degree in English at Saint Anselm College in Manchester, Massachusetts. Then, in 2000, he completed his law degree at the Massachusetts School of Law, Andover. Since then, he has also been admitted to practice in Massachusetts and the U.S. District Court District of Massachusetts.

Mr. Amann has also successfully argued cases pro hac vice for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York for multistate commercial litigation as well as the United States federal court. Currently, he primarily represents large creditors in commercial litigation and bankruptcy cases. However, he also enjoys representing small businesses and midsize debtor corporations. Occasionally, he also handles individual bankruptcy cases.

Despite his former passion for writing and language, Mr. Amann has developed a love for numbers and the financial well-being of his clients. Consequently, he is eager to give back as much as possible. So far, he has provided pro bono representation to several Chapter 11 businesses.

Braucher & Amann Attorneys at Law is a debt relief agency. It helps people file for bankruptcy relief under the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
