Lance J. Bitterman

Lance J. Bitterman is a partner at Fredson, Statmore Bitterman, LLC and he has been with the firm for his entire career in private practice. Located in Bloomfield, New Jersey, he represents clients in throughout the state, including portions of the New York metropolitan area.  Mr. Bitterman has been admitted to practice in New Jersey since 2014, and he is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey as well.

Mr. Bitterman focuses his practice on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, and his clients are people who have incurred significant losses because of the negligence of other persons or entities. The cases that he has worked on since joining the firm have included construction site and other workplace accidents in which a nonemployer third party is at fault, motor vehicle crashes, slip and falls, trip and falls, and defective products.  Mr. Bitterman has been successful in being able to obtain substantial amounts of compensation for his plaintiff clients through negotiated settlements and jury awards, including a jury award in 2017 that was considered to be one of the largest in that year throughout the state of New Jersey.

Mr. Bitterman’s successful track record in the courtroom and at the negotiating table has earned him favorable recognition from his peers. He has been selected for membership in the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, an invitation-only organization in which fewer than 1% of practicing attorneys have been asked to join. Mr. Bitterman graduated cum laude from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University, and he served a judicial clerkship before joining his current firm.
