Michael N. Colacci is a distinguished attorney with a robust background in personal injury, criminal defense, and municipal court law. Since March of 2022, he has overseen operations at Colacci Law Firm, L.L.C., with locations in Bridgewater and Perth Amboy, New Jersey.

Mr. Colacci presently serves as a Municipal Prosecutor or Alternate Municipal Prosecutor for four (4) municipalities located throughout Middlesex and Somerset County. Throughout his career, Mr. Colacci has taught courses to law enforcement and public employees on critical legal issues such as absenteeism, police misconduct investigations, and the implications of Brady/Giglio disclosures. Most recently, Mr. Colacci taught a CLE course related to drug recognition expert testimony within the context of driving under the influence trials.

Mr. Colacci’s legal acumen and expertise have garnered him recognition as a New Jersey Super Lawyers - Rising Star from 2021 through 2025. Outside of running his practice, Mr. Colacci has also made several television appearances. He appeared on a PBS News Special to discuss the Sovereign Citizen Movement in June of 2021, and recently appeared on CBS WLNY's "The Donna Drake Show" in November of 2024. 

Mr. Colacci holds a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and a Bachelor of Science from Pennsylvania State University.
