Alyssa E. Nunn

Alyssa E. Nunn is a dedicated attorney practicing family law at Hagan, Weisberg & Nunn, LLC, located in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. Her practice encompasses a wide range of family law matters, including divorce, mediation, custody and support, and visitation. She provides her services to clients in Essex County, Morris County, Union County and Somerset County. She has been with the firm since October 2009, following a clerkship with The Honorable Thomas L. Weisenbeck at the Morris County Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part, during the 2008-2009 term.

Ms. Nunn's journey into family law began during her time at Rutgers School of Law – Newark, where she participated in the Child Advocacy Clinic. There, she gained valuable experience by acting as a law guardian for minor children. Since earning her Juris Doctor degree in 2008, she has devoted her career to matrimonial law. Her work includes handling prenuptial agreements, navigating custody disputes, managing divorce proceedings, addressing equitable distribution matters, dealing with palimony issues, advocating in domestic violence cases, and working on appeals and post-judgment issues.

Outside of her legal practice, Ms. Nunn is actively involved in both the legal and local community. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Morris County Bar Association, where she previously served as a trustee. Her commitment to the legal profession extends to education, as she has frequently participated as a speaker and moderator at seminars designed for Continuing Legal Education credits.

In addition to her professional commitments, Ms. Nunn serves on the Board of Trustees for Gottesman RTW Academy in Randolph, New Jersey. Her dedication to her community and profession is reflected in her "Superb" Avvo rating, which is a testament to her commitment and service to her clients.
