Debra Weisberg

Debra Weisberg is a dedicated family law attorney at Hagan, Weisberg & Nunn, LLC, located in Cedar Knolls, New Jersey. Her practice areas include family law matters like divorce, mediation, custody and support, and visitation. She serves clients in Essex, Morris, Union and Somerset counties.

With over 30 years of legal experience, Ms. Weisberg has been with her firm since 1998 and became a partner in 2001. Her career has been devoted to family and matrimonial law. In 2003, she was honored as the Young Lawyer of the Year by the New Jersey State Bar Association (NYSBA). Her commitment to the Morris County Bar Association is evident through her numerous leadership roles, including serving as president in 2010 and leading the Morris County Bar Foundation in 2008.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Weisberg dedicates her time as an Early Settlement Panelist and is often invited by the Court to participate as a Blue Ribbon Panelist. She frequently lectures on matrimonial and family law topics for the Morris County Bar Association and the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education. Her role as a court-approved mediator is notable, as she is known for her ability to resolve challenging cases through both court-appointed and private mediation.

Ms. Weisberg’s leadership is further demonstrated by her appointment as co-chair of the Morris County Bar Association Family Law Committee in 2019, a position she previously held. Her legal admissions include the NYSBA and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey since 1993. Her educational background includes a Juris Doctor from Seton Hall Law School and a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers University. In 2012, she was recognized as a distinguished alumna for her significant achievements in family law and her active involvement in the legal community.
