Robert Di Lauri

As the founder of the Di Lauri & Hewitt Law Group, Robert Di Lauri focuses his practice primarily on the defense of insurance claims and other coverage matters. He is located in Morristown, New Jersey, and he provides representation to his business and individual clients throughout the northern part of the state. Admitted to practice before all New Jersey state courts since 2010, Mr. Di Lauri is also admitted to practice in New York and before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Di Lauri attended Moravian College in Pennsylvania and received a Bachelor of Arts in 2006. He then went on to pursue his legal studies at Albany Law School and obtained his Juris Doctor in 2010. After he graduated, Mr. Di Lauri clerked for a Superior Court judge in New Jersey for a year, and he then was a claims analyst for an insurance company before entering private practice, where he defended insurance companies. He formed his current firm in September 2018.

Mr. Di Lauri has handled a variety of cases since founding the Di Lauri & Hewitt Law Group. He has defended insurance companies, businesses, and property owners against several types of claims, including premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, business interruption, storm and fire damage, construction defects, theft, burglary, defective products, and construction site and other workplace accidents. Outside of his law practice, Mr. Di Lauri is the membership director of the Northern New Jersey Chapter of the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance and a member of other professional and trade organizations.
