Details

With extensive experience of 42-plus years, personal injury attorney Michael J. McKenna concentrates on serving the victims of personal injury in areas of Gloucester County, Camden County and Burlington County, in South Jersey. Working with the Cherry Hill-based law firm McKenna Law as its managing partner, he handles legal matters related to wrongful death, traumatic brain injury in trucking/automobile accidents, sexual assault, slip-and-fall and animal attacks.

For over four decades, McKenna Law has assisted those who have suffered traumatic brain injuries.  In that time, as the science of diagnosis and treatment has progressed, Michael J. McKenna has stayed at the forefront of the science.  He knows who the very best specialized medical providers are.  Just as importantly, he helps his clients recognize and understand what is happening with their terrible injuries, and how to turn that deep understanding into a winning strategy for case resolution.

Empathetic to clients who approach him for help, Mr. McKenna brings holistic strategies that address their individual needs. With an impressive track record of successful trials, his merit in the field is recognized by his opponents, peers and judges.  With that level of success, he is able to resolve a majority of cases by hard fought settlements, saving his clients’ time, money and the stress of prolonged litigation.

A resident of South Jersey all his life, Mr. McKenna has worked on several landmark cases, including the privacy invasion case associated with the Philadelphia Eagles cheerleading locker room incident. He has represented sexual abuse victims and won them fair compensation against clergy abusers and other dominant and influential sections of society. These successes have earned him the spotlight on popular national television shows, including ‘The View’ with Barbara Walters, ‘Today’ show with Katie Couric, ‘Inside Edition’ and ‘The Montel Williams Show’.

Mr. McKenna graduated magna cum laude from Rider University, in Lawrenceville, and completed his doctorate in jurisprudence at The State University of New Jersey – Rutgers Law School Camden, in 1981. Soon after, he passed the bar exams on his first try to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Recognitions for Mr. McKenna’s long years of professional service include being peer-review rated Distinguished* through Martindale-Hubbell.
