Thomas Szieber

Thomas Szieber is an attorney at the Law Offices of Peter G. Aziz & Associates LLC, in Clifton, New Jersey, where he focuses his practice on estate planning and estate and trust administration. A lifelong resident of New Jersey, he brings more than a decade of experience helping individuals and families prepare for the future while navigating some of life’s most sensitive moments.

Mr. Szieber works with clients across a wide range of financial circumstances, from those with significant assets to individuals seeking essential planning tools. He develops thoughtful, tax-conscious estate plans designed to provide long-term protection and clarity for families. His work includes preparing wills, revocable living trusts, powers of attorney, advance directives and various forms of irrevocable trusts aimed at preserving assets and minimizing potential tax burdens.

In addition to planning, Mr. Szieber regularly assists clients with estate administration matters. He guides fiduciaries through each stage of the probate and settlement process, including identifying and managing estate assets, addressing administrative requirements and overseeing the orderly distribution of property to beneficiaries.

Beyond his legal practice, Mr. Szieber is actively involved in community and professional organizations. He serves on the board of directors of the Mental Health Association in Passaic County and the Summit Police Athletic League, and he contributes to the Scholarship Committee of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation. He is also a member of the Clifton High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee. Earlier in his career, he worked as a high school sports writer and gained experience in New Jersey state government.

Mr. Szieber earned an LL.M. in estate planning from Boston University School of Law, a Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School in Newark and a bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Montclair State University. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey and New York.
