Mark Leonetti

Mark Leonetti is a partner at Cuneo & Leonetti, LLC, in Collingswood, New Jersey, whose practice areas include personal injury, workers’ compensation, automobile accidents, slip-and-fall accidents and motorcycle accidents. He brings three decades of courtroom-focused practice to cases involving catastrophically injured plaintiffs, serious motor vehicle and truck collisions, defective products and complex wrongful injury matters, as well as representation of employees through New Jersey’s workers’ compensation system.

Mr. Leonetti’s litigation record reflects a readiness to bring cases to trial when that serves a client’s interests. He has handled high-stakes disputes on behalf of severely injured clients and consistently pursues recovery for medical care, rehabilitation, wage loss and ongoing support needs where long-term consequences are at issue.

Among the recoveries Mr. Leonetti has secured are a $2.2 million settlement stemming from a fall on a defective staircase, a $750,000 slip-and-fall resolution, and substantial motor vehicle outcomes of $1.58 million and $1.2 million. Those results illustrate a pattern of achieving meaningful monetary relief through negotiation and, when necessary, jury verdicts.

In the arena of workers’ compensation, Mr. Leonetti has represented thousands of injured workers and their families, obtaining benefits that range from death benefits and lifetime awards for spouses to educational funding for dependents, lifetime medical and wage benefits for those found totally disabled, and substantial lump-sum settlements for others returning to the workforce. He frames each matter to secure the full statutory entitlements available under New Jersey law.

Mr. Leonetti’s earlier career includes 17 years as a partner and plaintiff’s trial attorney and prior service as an associate in Haddonfield, where defense-side trial work sharpened his approach to case evaluation, trial preparation and courtroom strategy. That combination of defense and plaintiff experience informs his tactical decisions and client counseling.

Earning a B.A. with high honors from Rutgers University and a J.D. from Widener University School of Law, Mr. Leonetti completed internships with the New Jersey Superior Court (Judge James Rafferty) and the Appellate Division (Judge Virginia Long). He is admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and is authorized before the Federal District Court of New Jersey, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit and the United States Supreme Court. Active in the legal community, he maintains long-standing membership in the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New Jersey Association for Justice and the Camden County Bar Association.
