Ms. Hascup obtained her bachelor’s degree in leadership studies/pre-law from the University of Richmond, and her Juris Doctor degree with highest honors from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. She is licensed to practice in New Jersey and before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

After honing her legal skills for a few years working for some of the top criminal defense firms in New Jersey,     Ms. Hascup became an assistant prosecutor at the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office. While there, she served as an on-duty prosecutor for the Major Crimes Unit, where she assisted in conducting witness and suspect interviews, preparing search warrants and responding to crime scenes. Having learned a great deal during her tenure as a prosecutor, she transitioned back into private practice in 2013.

For all her notable achievements, Ms. Hascup has been named one of America’s Most Honored Lawyers by The American Registry every year since 2020 and has received Avvo’s Clients’ Choice award and a “Superb” rating. She is also the recipient of the "10 Best in New Jersey" – Client Satisfaction Award by the American Institute of Criminal Law Attorneys.
