Silvana D. Raso

As the managing partner at Schepisi & McLaughlin, PA, Silvana Raso is committed to representing clients in Englewood Cliffs and Bergen County, New Jersey, as well as throughout the state. She focuses her practice on handling family law cases that involve high net worth divorce, prenuptial agreements, domestic violence, custody, parenting time, and child support issues. Silvana appreciates that helping families through sensitive matters such as divorce and child custody requires deep understanding of the law and compassion for those involved. As a result of her knowledge and skill in these areas, the New Jersey Supreme Court has designated Silvana as a Certified Matrimonial Law Attorney.

In 1990, Ms. Raso received a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Trinity University. She went on to earn a Juris Doctor and graduate cum laude in 1993 from Syracuse University College of Law.

Having built a reputation for her legal knowledge, Ms. Raso is frequently asked to serve as a commentator for media outlets such as CNN Money, ABC News, FOX News Network and News12 Interactive LLC. For her achievements, she was named in the NJBIZ Best 50 Women in Business in 2014.

Active in the legal community, Ms. Raso holds memberships with the Bergen County Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Association, and she holds the title of Master with both the Barry Croland Matrimonial Inn of Court and the the Justice Morris Pashman American Inn of Court. Outside the office, Ms. Raso volunteers with organizations that serve children's needs and is a member of The 200 Club of Bergen County. To better serve her clients, Ms. Raso is fluent in Romanian and English.
