Robert W. Ferguson

Robert W. Ferguson is an attorney with Stern Kilcullen & Rufolo who represents clients in New Jersey in matters of trust and estate litigation. With over a decade of experience, his practice includes pretrial discovery, motion practice, depositions, trial, mediation and all forms of dispute resolution. He also manages cases involving insurance coverage, employment litigation, internal investigations, partnership disputes, business divorces, class action disputes, arbitrations and all forms of sophisticated business disputes.

With extensive experience in the health care and financial fields, Mr. Ferguson is admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey. At Seton Hall University School of Law, he graduated magna cum laude with a Juris Doctor, and he also graduated from the Order of the Coif. One of his biggest accomplishments was representing the largest health insurer in the state over fee reimbursement levels. The case was brought by national laboratory testing services and was a $70 million lawsuit.

During his career, he has also handled bankruptcy proceedings, including Chapter 11 reorganizations for the Revel Casino. While working on that case, he defended and took expert depositions and examined witnesses during the bankruptcy court hearing. Mr. Ferguson also served for an international janitorial franchisor as lead counsel in a case against the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development related to contribution payments for unemployment insurance and Social Security Disability Insurance.

Mr. Ferguson has managed cases under the New Jersey Wage Payment Law and in ARIAS arbitrations. He represents businesses and individuals both internationally and nationally. With a goal to provide the highest caliber legal services to his clients, he is a valuable member of the high-energy firm.
