Donald M. Lomurro

Donald M. Lomurro is the managing partner of Lomurro Munson LLC, located in Freehold, New Jersey. Representing clients throughout the state, he focuses his practice on both civil litigation and criminal defense work. His civil practice encompasses seeking compensation on behalf of plaintiffs who have been injured in motor vehicle accidents, as well as by defective products or through the negligence of health care professionals. Mr. Lomurro also provides defense representation to those who have been charged with state misdemeanors or felonies.

Mr. Lomurro received a Bachelor of Arts from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in 1973. He then attended the University of South Dakota School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1976. In private practice throughout his career, Mr. Lomurro is admitted to practice before all New Jersey state courts.

The Board on Attorney Certification of the Supreme Court of New Jersey has certified Mr. Lomurro as both a civil trial attorney and a criminal trial attorney, making him one of very few attorneys in the state to receive two certifications. His fellow professionals have recognized his successful track record and superb ethics, as attested to by his receipt of an AV* peer review rating through Martindale-Hubbell and his 10.0 "Superb" peer review rating through Avvo. Mr. Lomurro has also been selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America.

Mr. Lomurro has been active in several professional organizations throughout his career. A member of the New Jersey State Bar Association's Judicial and Prosecutorial Appointments Committee since 2010, he is also a longtime member of both the New Jersey Association for Justice and the Monmouth Bar Association.  He presently serves on two Supremem Court Committees.
