Brian J. Neary

As founder and named partner of the Neary Law LLC, based in Hackensack, New Jersey, attorney Brian J. Neary focuses exclusively on providing exemplary criminal defense to his clients. He has extensive experience in defending driving under the influence cases, as well as white collar and non-white collar crimes.

Mr. Neary graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1973 where he received high honors and was admitted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He then went on to obtain a Juris Doctor from New York University in 1976. For more than 20 years, Mr. Neary has served as an adjunct professor at Rutgers School of Law in Newark. He also teaches criminal law and trial advocacy courses attended by judges and lawyers.

The New Jersey Supreme Court recognized Mr. Neary as a certified criminal trial attorney in 1982. The following year, he received a criminal law certification from the National Board of Trial Advocacy. Mr. Neary is established as a fellow by the American Board of Criminal Lawyers, the American Bar Association and the American College of Trial Lawyers. He has also appeared as a criminal law consultant on national television and radio programs. In addition, he has received Martindale-Hubbell's prestigious AV-Preeminent* rating.

Mr. Neary represents clients in Hackensack, Hoboken and New York City. He is licensed to practice law in the state courts of New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts. Mr. Neary is also licensed in the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York and the District of New Jersey, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd and 3rd Circuits, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
