Academically distinguished, Mr. Shafron graduated from Bucknell University in 1988 with dual B.A. degrees in economics and political science. He earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 1991, where he contributed as a research assistant in bankruptcy and tax law. Following law school, he clerked for the Honorable Thomas S. O’Brien, J.A.D., at the New Jersey Superior Court Appellate Division, offering seasoned legal advice and trial representation in areas such as ERISA, insurance coverage, stock option disputes and class-action litigation.

A respected member of the legal community, Mr. Shafron is affiliated with the Bergen County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Bar Association and has served on the board of trustees of the Passaic County Bar Association. He further refined his litigation prowess through a two-year program with the Justice William J. Brennan Jr. Chapter of the American Inns of Court.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Shafron actively contributes to the community. He has served as the board chairman of the Young Professionals Division of the American Cancer Society and currently sits on the board of directors for the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey, co-chairing the Commerce and Professionals Division. Additionally, he co-chairs Reed Academy's Capital Campaign and acts as a commissioner for the Northwest Bergen County Utilities Authority.
