More specifically, he has represented the Republic of Ecuador and the state of Israel in international matters along with defending several high-profile individuals and corporate executives accused of a wide range of serious federal charges, including health care and securities fraud, kickback accusations, and willful FAA violations.

Through his civil trial practice, Mr. Berman has defended numerous corporations in a variety of industries with matters involving employment discrimination, copyright infringement, shareholder disputes, breaches of contract, product liability claims and more. At all turns, he fights aggressively to protect his clients' rights and to help them achieve the favorable outcomes they seek no matter how complicated their situations or how serious the accusations against them.

A 1990 magna cum laude graduate of Tufts University, Mr. Berman received his Master of Arts in Law & Diplomacy from The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy in 1990. He then attended Columbia Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1993.

Mr. Berman is admitted to practice before all U.S. District Courts in New York and New Jersey as well as the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois and the District of Columbia. He also practices before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd, 3rd and 7th Circuits and the U.S. Supreme Court.

A leader in his field, he has published numerous articles and conducted lectures and seminars on a variety of legal topics, and he maintains active involvement with various local, state and national professional legal organizations.
