Since 1996, she has been educating undergraduate students on conflict and its resolution; negotiation, mediation, arbitration and other processes; legal research and intro to law and the legal procedure as an adjunct professor at Montclair State University. She also takes graduate-level negotiation and mediation classes. Before practicing in law firms, she served as a judicial law clerk for the Honorable Bruce A. Gaeta, J.S.C.

Ms. O’Shea-Criscione is a Rule 1:40-qualified mediator for the Statewide Mediation Program for civil, general equity, and probate cases, resolving private disputes and disputes assigned by the courts. Her bar memberships include the New Jersey Superior Court; the municipal courts in Bergen, Essex, Sussex, Morris and Passaic counties; the New Jersey State Bar Association Dispute Resolution Section; and the Bergen County Bar Association.

Acknowledging her feats, she has been named into the top attorneys list in different categories by 201 Magazine for three consecutive years. Currently a trustee for the Bergen County Special Services Board of Education, she is an active member of Paramus Rotary and a past trustee of the Paramus Board of Education.
