Details

Brian G. Paul is a family law attorney and co-managing partner at Szaferman, Lakind, Blumstein & Blader, P.C. He helps clients in New Jersey navigate divorce, appeals and other areas of family law. In some cases, he also serves as a mediator and as part of arbitration arrangements. Additionally, Mr. Paul has a rare certification from the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a Matrimonial Law Attorney.

As an undergrad student, Mr. Paul attended Rutgers University and earned a Bachelor of Arts. He then completed his law degree at Widener University School of Law, in 1995. He was admitted to practice in New Jersey that same year. While completing his law degree, his exceptional skills in writing and legal research earned him the American Jurisprudence Award.

Mr. Paul has litigated a wide range of family law cases, but his clients most often rely on him for assistance with complex, high net worth cases. In fact, some of the appellate cases he has worked on have impacted family law in New Jersey. His impressive results and contributions to the advancement of family law have earned him the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Amicus Curiae Award five times.

Beyond his cases, Mr. Paul is always looking for new ways to serve his profession and his community. He serves on the Amicus Committee and Family Law Executive Committee of the New Jersey State Bar. He also serves the Mercer County Early Settlement Program as a co-chair.
