Mr. Edelberg graduated with a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School in 1983 and a B.S. in environmental science from Rutgers University in 1980. He is the distinguished recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in Bankruptcy. Currently, he holds significant leadership roles, including chairing the Bankruptcy Law Section within the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Law Committee of the Bergen County Bar Association. In addition to his trustee role at the New Jersey State Bar Association, he has served as the president of the Bergen County Bar Association. He is also recognized as an esteemed American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) member.

Appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to serve on the District Ethics Committee, specifically in District II-B, Mr. Edelberg holds an AV Preeminent* rating through Martindale-Hubbell.
