Nancy C. Richmond is a partner at A.Y. Strauss in Livingston, New Jersey, where she leads the firm’s family law practice group. With more than 30 years of experience in the field, she supports individuals and families across a broad spectrum of matters, including divorce, prenuptial agreements, child custody and support, domestic violence and other related issues. In addition, Ms. Richmond serves as an early settlement panelist for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Part, working to resolve cases earlier and more efficiently. She is also a frequent lecturer for the National Business Institute, regularly presenting practical, real-world perspectives to other legal professionals.
Before joining A.Y. Strauss, Ms. Richmond was a partner at a well-regarded regional firm, handling a demanding docket that included complex matters involving high net worth and mid-income clients. Earlier in her career, she completed the Family Law Trial Advocacy Institute and clerked for the Honorable John D’Amico, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Family Part, Monmouth County.
Ms. Richmond earned her J.D. from Penn State Dickinson Law and her B.A. from Lafayette College. Guided by steady leadership, sound judgment and heartfelt advocacy, she continues to make a lasting difference for families navigating the legal system.
