Eric B. Hannum is an established attorney representing clients in matters of family law. Working from his firm, the Law Office of Eric B. LeWinn, presiding judge of the family part in Mercer County. During this clerkship, he drafted tentative decisions, updated the law library and mediated matters for the county mediation program.
In addition to his practice, Mr. Hannum is a Supreme Court of New Jersey-qualified mediator and facilitates discussions between disputing parties to help them reach a voluntary settlement. He is also trained in interdisciplinary collaborative divorce, helping guide couples through the separation process entirely outside of the courtroom. Additionally, as a trained parent coordinator, he helps highly conflicted co-parents implement existing custody agreements, reduce family stress and make minor decisions without repeatedly going to court.
Mr. Hannum is also a Domestic Violence Economic Mediator (DVEM) and a former New Jersey Privacy Law Committee member. As an active member of the Monmouth Bar Association, Ocean County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the American Bar Association, he stays up-to-date on recent developments in the field.
