Joseph M. Casello

Financial hardships have a resounding effect on nearly every aspect of someone’s life. Keeping that in mind, Joseph M. Casello represents people in Ocean and Monmouth counties, New Jersey, with compassion and understanding. As an attorney at Collins, Vella & Casello LLC, he focuses on bankruptcy and commercial litigation cases.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from Boston University in 1989, Mr. Casello earned a Juris Doctor in 1993 from Rutgers Law School-Camden. Mr. Casello served as the first law clerk to the Honorable Kathryn C. Ferguson, U.S.B.J. from 1993 until 1995.  He is admitted to practice in the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey and the Superior Court of New Jersey.

A member of the Monmouth Bar Association, the immediate past president of the Monmouth Bar Association and former secretary of the District IX Ethics Committee, Mr. Casello is highly involved in the legal community. Through networking with peers and studying case law, he is able to effectively serve clients. His goal is to collaborate with those he represents to determine a path to a better and brighter future.

In the decades Mr. Casello has spent navigating the complexities of bankruptcy and creditor or debtor rights, he has gained an exceptional knowledge of the law and ways to overcome difficult situations.
