Angie Garasia is a partner at the law firm of Lee & Garasia, LLC, based in Metuchen, New Jersey. With over two decades of dedicated experience, Mrs. Garasia practices exclusively in the field of Immigration and Nationality Law. She has established a highly respected reputation for her strategic legal advocacy and compassionate, client-focused representation.
As the firm's designated “Field Attorney,” Mrs. Garasia frequently represents clients at United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) offices in Cranbury, Newark, and Mt. Laurel, NJ. Recognizing that the immigration interview is often the final—and most critical—stage of a client’s case, the firm is unwavering in its commitment to meticulous preparation and vigorous advocacy.
In response to client needs and the growing demand for experienced representation, the firm has expanded its practice nationally. Mrs. Garasia has traveled out of state to handle complex immigration matters at numerous USCIS field offices, including locations in New York City; Philadelphia, PA; Hartford, CT; Miami, FL; Fairfax, VA; Lawrence, MA; Cincinnati, OH; Memphis, TN; Jacksonville, FL; Centennial, CO; Chicago, IL; St. Albans City, VT; Sacramento, CA; and Houston, TX.
Mrs. Garasia’s legal successes are matched by her dedication to professional service and leadership. She remains actively engaged in the legal community. She currently serves as the Chair Liaison between the USCIS Cranbury Field Office and the New Jersey Chapter of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). Previously, she served as Chair of AILA’s New Jersey Chapter and was a member of AILA National’s By-Laws Committee.
In addition to her work with AILA, Mrs. Garasia serves on the Executive Board of the New Jersey State Bar Association (NJSBA)-Immigration Section. She is also a member of the Federal Bar Association (FBA), the South Asian Bar Association of New Jersey (SABA-NJ), New Jersey Women Lawyers Association (NJWLA) and the Solo and Small Firm Section of NJSBA. Her article, “Naturalization, Jersey Style: The Process, the Perks and the Pitfalls,” was published in the February 2017 issue of New Jersey Lawyer Magazine. She was also a featured speaker at the 2019 Federal Bar Association Annual Conference held in Newark, New Jersey.
Ms. Garasia is a graduate of New York University and a recipient of the New York Governor’s Committee on Scholastic Achievement Award. She earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law–Newark, where she served on the prestigious Rutgers Law Review.
