Peter Ventrice

Peter Ventrice is a partner with Brause, Brause & Ventrice, L.L.C, in Metuchen, New Jersey.

Mr. Ventrice has been selected as a New Jersey "Super Lawyer" in the area of Family Law.  He also earned a Preeminent "AV" Peer Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. 

His practice focuses upon family law, divorce, child custody and parenting time, child support, alimony, distribution of assets and liabilities, enforcement and modification of existing judgments and orders, and restraining orders. Mr. Ventrice appreciates that every case is of the utmost of importance to each of his clients and to his clients' families.

Mr. Ventrice is also an experienced mediator and is regularly called upon by the courts and his colleagues to mediate difficult divorce and family law matters. As a Qualified Mediator, he has been appointed to serve as a Middlesex County Matrimonial Early Settlement Panelist, and he is included in the roster of Mediators for Economic Aspects of Family Law Cases by the New Jersey Courts under Rule 1:40.  Mr. Ventrice has also been appointed to serve on the Middlesex County Assignment Judge's Family Lawyers Committee.

His practice also includes civil litigation involving personal injuries and workers' compensation. Mr. Ventrice also has an extensive appellate practice in various areas of the law.  He has argued appeals before the New Jersey Supreme Court, the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

He is admitted to the Bar of the State of New Jersey, the United States Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the New York Bar.

Mr. Ventrice is also devoted to public service.  He serves as a Councilman in the Borough of Lake Como, and he previously served the City of New Brunswick as Public Defender and on the Zoning Board.

He has also been recognized by Women Aware, Inc., for service to victims of domestic violence.
