Christopher Leon Garibian

As Of Counsel attorney at Sarno da Costa D'Aniello Maceri Webb LLC, located in Morristown, New Jersey, Christopher Leon Garibian provides strategic legal representation to clients throughout Morris, Essex, Union, Bergen and Somerset counties. Mr. Garibian’s practice focuses on divorce, custody, child support, alimony and equitable distribution, with specific experience in high net worth asset division. He also represents clients in grandparents’ rights, adoption, LGBTQIA+ family matters and nonmarital parenting issues. Additionally, he handles guardian ad litem appointments, guardianships for incapacitated individuals, and domestic violence proceedings, as well as post-judgment enforcement, modification, and termination of support.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Garibian has managed cases from initial consultation to resolution, guiding clients through complicated financial and emotional proceedings. In 2015, he was certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a matrimonial law attorney, a designation reflecting his advanced skill and reputation in the field. Mr. Garibian graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University in 1990. Later, he attended Cooley Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor in 1997. During law school, he developed the foundational legal knowledge and advocacy skills that continue to inform his family law practice today.

Licensed to practice law in New Jersey since 1997, Mr. Garibian is also admitted to the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit. He is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Morris County Bar Association and the New Jersey Association for Justice, serving on the family law committees of each. He also serves as a trustee for the Morris County Bar Foundation.
