Elizabeth M. Foster-Fernandez

Attorney Elizabeth M. Foster-Fernandez is a partner at Eveland & Foster, LLC, in Morristown, New Jersey. Ms. Foster-Fernandez has over a decade of legal experience and concentrates her practice on family law. She represents clients in Morris and Essex counties and the surrounding areas. 

Ms. Foster-Fernandez handles a wide variety of family law cases, including those involving divorce, adoption, alimony, cohabitation, custody, equitable distribution, parenting time, pre-marital agreements, support, visitation and other issues. Over the course of her career, she has represented clients in many complex family law and matrimonial matters at the trial and appellate levels. 

Prior to joining Eveland & Foster, LLC, Ms. Foster-Fernandez clerked for a dissolution judge in Essex County and practiced as an associate at two private law firms. She has always focused her practice on family law. 

Outside of her law practice, Ms. Foster-Fernandez stays involved in her legal community. She belongs to the New Jersey State Bar Association and volunteers her time with Partners for Women and Justice. She holds a license to practice law before the state courts of New Jersey and New York.

After graduating magna cum laude from New York University with a bachelor’s degree in international relations, Ms. Foster-Fernandez earned her law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. While attending law school, she served as chair of the Women’s Law Forum and participated in the Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights Clinic. She was also a member of the Appellate Advocacy Moot Court Board and the Eugene Gressman Moot Court Competition.
