Jennifer Lazor

Jennifer Lazor is a partner at Lazor Rantas, PC, in Morristown, New Jersey, where she has established herself as a distinguished matrimonial law attorney certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. Additionally, she is recognized as a family law mediator under R. 1:40. Her practice is dedicated to navigating the intricate world of family law.

A 1994 graduate of Lafayette College with a B.A., Ms. Lazor earned her J.D. in 1998 from Rutgers Law School. Since 2009, she has served on the New Jersey Supreme Court Family Practice Committee and co-chairs the Non-Dissolution/Domestic Violence Subcommittee. She is also a member of the New Jersey Supreme Court District XA Ethics Committee.

Ms. Lazor contributes as an associate managing editor of the New Jersey Family Lawyer, a publication of the New Jersey State Bar Association, of which she is also a member. She participates as an Early Settlement Panelist in Morris and Essex counties, part of an in-court mediation initiative for family law matters. From 2010 to 2011, she co-directed the Women's Leadership Subcommittee for the New Jersey Women Lawyers Association.

Before her role at Lazor Rantas, PC, Ms. Lazor was a member of another family law firm in New Jersey and previously served as a partner at a different New Jersey law firm. Early in her career, she clerked for the Honorable Edward J. Ryan, Superior Court of New Jersey, Chancery Division, Family Part, Middlesex County. Since then, she has focused exclusively on family law, gaining substantial experience in divorce, custody, family law appeals, domestic violence and various family law agreements.
