Robert E. Dunn

Robert E. Dunn is a criminal law attorney who handles serious criminal cases and domestic violence. As partner at Hanlon Dunn Robertson, he represents clients from northern New Jersey. This includes Morristown, Jersey City, Bergen County, Passaic County, Union County, Essex County and Morris County. With over three decades of experience, he is highly qualified to handle even the most complex cases and is passionate about protecting the rights of every individual who has been accused of committing a crime.

The Supreme Court of New Jersey named Mr. Dunn a Matrimonial Attorney and he is a Master of the Worrall F. Mountain American Inn of Court. An active member of the local legal community, he holds membership in the New Jersey Criminal Defense Lawyers and as a trustee for the Morris County Bar Association. For over 30 years, he has provided pro bono work to the Morris County Early Settlement Program.

At Fairleigh Dickinson University, Mr. Dunn graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in biology and chemistry. He then attended Seton Hall University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude with his Juris Doctor in 1986. Admitted to practice in the state of New Jersey, he is also admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey.
