Joseph L. Messa Jr., the founding partner of Messa & Associates, P.C., in Mount Laurel Township, New Jersey, champions the cause of clients throughout Southern Central New Jersey. His practice encompasses personal injury cases involving:

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Mr. Messa embarked on his legal journey by graduating with honors from Tulane University in 1984 and earning a J.D. cum laude from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 1988, where he received the Horace Stern Award for Excellence in products liability and the American Jurisprudence Award for products liability. He gained his license to practice law in New Jersey in 1989.

A respected figure in the legal community, Mr. Messa actively participates in several esteemed organizations, including the American Association for Justice, the American Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice – Board of Governors, the Philadelphia Bar Association, the New Jersey Association for Justice, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Justinian Society. He holds the title of Advocate with the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). Additionally, he has played a significant role in the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, serving on the Board of Directors since 2006 and holding various leadership positions, culminating in his presidency from 2015 to 2016.

Mr. Messa is also recognized as a diplomat of the American Board of Professional Liability Attorneys and has been board-certified as a medical malpractice attorney by the same organization.
