Pamela A. Brown-Jones

Pamela A. Brown-Jones is a partner at Weiss & Paarz Medical Malpractice Attorneys in Northfield, New Jersey, where she dedicates her practice to medical malpractice litigation, representing clients throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and nationwide. Licensed to practice law in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, she brings a rare and invaluable perspective to her legal work: two decades of hands-on experience as a registered nurse before she ever stepped into a courtroom.

Long before pursuing her legal career, Ms. Brown-Jones spent 20 years working across a broad spectrum of clinical environments, including primary care, cardiac and cardiac intensive care units, medical-surgical and medical-surgical intensive care units and emergency medicine. This extensive nursing background gave her a front-row seat to the medical profession at its best – and at times, at its most troubling. 

While Ms. Brown-Jones frequently witnessed exceptional patient care, she also encountered instances of substandard treatment that left lasting, painful consequences for patients and their loved ones. These experiences ultimately inspired her to transition from healing patients directly to advocating for those harmed by preventable medical errors.

Determined to give victims of medical negligence a powerful voice, Ms. Brown-Jones earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Howard University before going on to complete her legal education at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey School of Law, Camden. She began her legal career as a law clerk for Judge Mary McVeigh in Passaic County, New Jersey, before dedicating herself fully to litigating medical malpractice cases. She rose to partner at Weiss & Paarz Medical Malpractice Attorneys in early 2016.

Ms. Brown-Jones' dual competence allows her to interpret complex medical records with an insider's precision while building compelling legal arguments grounded in that clinical insight. She is an active member of the New Jersey Association for Justice (NJAJ) and the New Jersey Association of Black Women Lawyers (ABWLNJ), continuing her commitment to justice and professional excellence.
