When he founded his practice, Mr. Bertollini was prepared to guide clients through the complicated issues associated with immigration and criminal defense. Mr. Bertollini has helped hundreds of people navigate immigration-related matters. As a former immigrant, he came to the United States after earning a law degree from the University of Rome Tor Vergata in Italy in 2008. He has personally experienced coming here on a student visa, becoming a lawful permanent resident and then gaining citizenship.
Mr. Bertollini has represented multi-million dollar companies as well as individuals in Business Immigration and commercial litigation matters. He has extensive experience with the investor Visa, intra-company transferee L-1 Visas, and Visas for individuals of extraordinary ability. In the past 5 years, Mr. Bertollini assisted hundreds of clients in family-based immigration matters, such as Adjustment of Status for spouses of U.S. citizens, removal of conditions on permanent residency, waivers, applications for U.S. Citizenship and Dual Citizenship matters.
Fluent in English, Italian and Spanish, Mr. Bertollini works with people from all walks of life. He has represented clients in a number of settings, including in removal proceedings, in criminal jury trials and in federal court appeals.
Among his accomplishments, Mr. Bertollini has returned a not guilty verdict on behalf of a client facing felony cyber crime charges. As a result of successes like these, Mr. Bertollini has an Avvo “Superb” rating.
In addition to his law degree from Italy, Mr. Bertollini holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Kansas School of Law, which he earned in 2010.
