Sean Kwak

Sean Kwak is an associate attorney at the law firm of Kim, Cho & Lim, LLC, in New Jersey and New York. He serves clients in both locations from his office in Palisades Park, New Jersey. His practice areas are focused on:

Having extensive experience in handling complex commercial litigation cases, Mr. Kwak serves various industries ranging from export and import to apparels, cosmetics and merchant services. He helps employees with civil actions involving unlawful discrimination and wage claims before administrative agencies. And for employers, he offers counseling to prevent and defend against potential claims and helps them stay compliant with wage and other labor law practices.

Earning his undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the University at Buffalo in 2014, Mr. Kwak went on to pursue his legal studies at the University at Buffalo School of Law. While there, he was the recipient of the CALI Excellence for the Future award in Trademark Law and worked on the Buffalo Intellectual Property Law Journal. Graduating cum laude with his law degree in 2017, he was licensed to practice in New York the same year, and later in New Jersey. 

Fluent in English and Korean, Mr. Kwak represents a diverse range of clients, and he is allowed to appear before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern and Northern Districts of New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. Furthermore, he is a licensed patent attorney, admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
