Joseph Ariyan

Joseph Ariyan is a Paramus, New Jersey, based attorney whose team of lawyers focuses primarily in the practice of Personal Injury Protection (PIP) arbitrations on behalf of medical providers.  In addition, he maintains a selective personal injury practice representing individuals seriously injured in motor vehicle accidents, dog bites and trucking accidents.  He represents clients throughout the state of New Jersey. 

Mr. Ariyan has over 27 years of legal experience and has resolved tens of thousands of disputes on behalf of medical providers, recovering millions of dollars in the process.  He is a dedicated advocate for the medical providers he represents and is committed to pursuing their right to full and fair payments.  Mr. Ariyan has spoken at seminars for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education on PIP and is a former member of the Forthright Solutions Advisory Council. 

Mr. Ariyan also served as the Municipal Prosecutor for the Criminal Part in the Borough of Paramus from January 2015 to January 2022; and currently serves as the Judge of the Municipal Court in the Borough of Rutherford an as Acting Judge of the Palisades Interstate Park Court.

After completing his bachelor’s degree in Insurance & Risk Management, Mr. Ariyan worked as an insurance claim adjuster before deciding to pursue a legal career. His insurance background provides him with a unique skill set for serving clients in his firm's practice. 

Mr. Ariyan received his license to practice law before the state courts of New Jersey in 1995 and the state courts of New York in 1996. He is also qualified to appear before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Supreme Court of the United States.
