Steven P. Monaghan

Steven P. Monaghan is a highly regarded family law attorney with over 25 years of experience. He has been certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a specialist in matrimonial law and is an official qualified mediator. The founder of the Law Offices of Steven P. Monaghan, LLC, in Red Bank, New Jersey, he represents clients throughout Monmouth and Ocean counties.

Skilled in traditional litigation and courtroom argument, Mr. Monaghan is also highly experienced in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration. He is frequently selected by other attorneys or appointed by the court as a mediator or arbitrator, often in difficult, high-conflict divorce cases. He also serves as a municipal court judge for Middletown Township and as a guardian ad litem, representing the interests of children and vulnerable adults.

For the New Jersey Courts system, Mr. Monaghan has participated as a mediator for the Program for Mediation of Economic Aspects of Family Law Cases and as an arbitrator panelist for the Matrimonial Settlement Panel.
