A 2008 graduate of Fordham University, Ms. Helmy attended the State University of New York (SUNY), Buffalo School of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 2011. During Law school, Mrs. Helmy was a fellow and then president of the Buffalo Public Interest Law Program. Honored for her remarkable professionalism and outstanding client service, Mrs. Helmy received the Dale S. Margulis Award and has achieved the status of fellow with the New York University Charles H. Revson Law Student Public Interest Program.

Currently she is an active member of various local, state and national legal organizations and is also the Treasurer of her church. She also teaches at the local Community Schools and also Social Workers through various continuing education programs on topics involving estate planning, elder law before and Senior Scams and financial exploitation.
