Attorney Jennifer Mara is the managing partner of Baldassare & Mara, LLC, located in Roseland, New Jersey. Practicing law for more than two decades, she provides diligent counsel and support to a diverse range of clients throughout New Jersey and beyond, who stand accused of serious federal criminal charges or complicated business-related disputes.
Through her civil practice, Ms. Mara has handled numerous trials and negotiated favorable settlements for businesses dealing with breaches of contract, shareholder and partnership disputes, intellectual property matters and other issues. In addition, she has handled criminal matters involving antitrust and the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act claims, kickbacks and bribery, and other white collar crimes.
From her efforts, Ms. Mara has achieved a long record of securing successful results for her clients at trial, during negotiations and at appeal. She has also advocated on behalf of a broad range of clients during investigations into serious wrongdoing, fraud, false claims and other issues. Ms. Mara earned her bachelor's degree with honors from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, in 1994, and her master's degree from the same university in 1995. She also attended the graduate program in political science at Yale University in 1997. Upon deciding to pursue her legal career, she attended the Seton Hall University School of Law from where she graduated magna cum laude in 2001, having also served as articles editor of the Seton Hall Law Review.
