Joseph Nitti

Joseph Nitti is the principal attorney at the law firm of Nitti & Nitti in Roseland, New Jersey. Mr. Nitti practices primarily in matrimonial and divorce law and serves clients throughout Roseland and Northern counties in New Jersey. He handles complex matters involving alimony, child custody, child support, child visitation, marital agreements, modifications, property division and relocations. 

Mr. Nitti has been licensed to practice law since 1986 and has experience at the trial and appellate levels. He has provided more than 30 years of trusted counsel in the areas of divorce and family law for individuals throughout northern New Jersey. He is admitted before all New Jersey state courts and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Nitti has negotiated and litigated extensively on behalf of clients. In addition to his experience in Family Law, he has extensive experience is real estate and estate matters which often plays a roll in the dissolution of a marriage.  His wide range of experience has provided his clients with a unique advantage toward finding a path to resolution of their case which should always be the goal. Mr. Nitti and his firm  has extensive experience in litigating other civil matters and handling real estate transactions.

Mr. Nitti belongs to various professional organizations and enjoys staying involved in the New Jersey legal community. He serves on a New Jersey Early Settlement Panels in Essex and Morris Counties and previously served as chairman of the Supreme Court of New Jersey Fee Arbitration Committee and is a Court Appointed Mediator for family law matters. He is a member of the Essex County Bar Association and active in the association’s family law section. He also belongs to the New Jersey State Bar Association..

Mr. Nitti earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Fairleigh Dickinson University, located in Florham Park, New Jersey. He received his law degree from New England Law: Boston in Massachusetts.
