Derek M. Cassidy

Attorney Derek Michael Cassidy is an associate attorney at The Cassidy Law Firm in Shrewsbury, New Jersey. Since joining the law firm in 2008, Mr. Cassidy has focused his efforts on providing the residents of New Jersey and neighboring New York with a broad range of high-quality legal services. Today,  clients from both the states know to turn to him for assistance with matters related to the following:

• Personal injury, including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and wrongful death
• Medical malpractice, including birth injuries
• Municipal court matters, including shoplifting, driving under the influence and drug possession

Mr. Cassidy, a New Jersey native, earned a Bachelor of Arts in political philosophy from Syracuse University in 2002 graduating with cum laude honors. He went on to enroll in one of the few joint JD/MBA programs in the country at the University of Miami. While enrolled in the JD/MBA program, Mr. Cassidy was required to enroll in legal and business courses simultaneously. He successfully completed the joint program in 2007 earning a Juris Doctorate from University of Miami School of Law and a Master of Business Administration, with a focus in finance, from University of Miami Business School. After graduating, Mr. Cassidy obtained his licesnse to practice law in New Jersey and New York.

In addition to representing the interests and protecting the rights of clients from both New York and New Jersey, attorney Cassidy is also an active member of the legal community in both the states.
