A past president of the Somerset County Bar Association, Mr. Cige continues to be an active participant in that organization as well as the New Jersey State Bar Association and the New Jersey State Bar Foundation. His past memberships include the Justice Marie L. Garibaldi American Inn of Court for Alternate Dispute Resolution.

Mr. Cige is a graduate of Montclair State University, where he majored in political science and obtained a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in 1981. He then went on to attend the Temple University Beasley School of Law, and he spent a summer studying international law at Tel Aviv University before being awarded his Juris Doctor in 1984.
