Richard A. Gantner

Richard A. Gantner is a partner at the Oakland, New Jersey, law firm of Cleary Giacobbe Alfieri Jacobs, LLC. He is a highly respected trial attorney whose work allows him to represent clients who face a variety of legal challenges. His success in helping his clients overcome their legal hurdles is due to his dedication to finding innovative solutions to complex legal problems. Mr. Gantner focuses his practice on assisting clients who have legal issues in the following areas:

• Employment and labor law, including providing representation to both management and claimants
• Personal injury law
• Workers' compensation
• Medical malpractice
• Insurance disputes

Mr. Gantner earned his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1993 and sat for the bar examinations in three states.  Both Pennsylvania and New Jersey approved him to practice law later the same year. New York followed suit in 1994, and The District of Columbia Bar admitted him in 1995. In addition to his 24-plus years as a trial lawyer, he also gained valuable experience by serving as a judge for the Township of Marlboro, serving as a member of the Supreme Court Committee on Municipal Court Practice, and the District XIII Ethics Committee.

Attorney Gantner has earned much recognition for his legal abilities. He holds a "Superb" Avvo rating and is listed as AV Preeminent* by Martindale-Hubbell. He has contributed to several published articles crossing a wide range of legal topics, including trial excellence and contractual issues. In addition to his writing, he has also taught a continuing legal education course on trial advocacy.
