Jamison M. Mark

Attorney Jamison M. Mark is a partner of The Mark Law Firm Springfield, New Jersey. With more than 20 years of legal experience, Mr. Mark represents clients throughout northern New Jersey, including Basking Ridge, Somerville Summit, Union County, Newark, Jersey City and beyond. He assists clients who have legal needs involving any of the following areas:

• Employment law - Harassment, Discrimination and Retaliation, Wrongful Termination, Sexual Harassment
• Wage and Hour, Prevailing Wage and Overtime Violations

Early in his legal career, Mr. Mark served as Assistant Deputy Attorney at the Delaware Attorney General's Office, where he gained invaluable trial experience and honed his legal skills both in and out of the courtroom. He then relocated to New Jersey and continued his legal practice, establishing his own law firm in 2006. Since then, he has achieved considerable success advocating for his clients, and he has gained a reputation for his honesty, integrity and passion toward his clients and the practice of law.

A diligent and knowledgeable attorney, Mr. Mark has represented several clients against state and municipal governments and multimillion-dollar companies. In recognition for his outstanding professionalism and commitment toward helping his clients, he has earned consistent top rankings and endorsements from his peers, including recognition on The National Trial Lawyers: Top 100 list, a “Superb” rating on Avvo and as a Superlawyer since 2014.

Mr. Mark graduated from Iowa State University in 1995 with double majors in political science and psychology. The recipient of several scholarships, he was an Academic All-Big 8 athlete in track and field and an active participant in the student government. He then attended Widener University Delaware Law School, where he obtained his Juris Doctor degree in 1999. The New Jersey State Bar Association admitted him to practice that same year, and he is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.  Mr. Mark is also licensed to practice law in North Carolina. 

Highly active in his legal community, Mr. Mark is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association of New Jersey, the Somerset County Bar Association and New Jersey Association for Justice. He was a member of the District XIII Ethics Committee at the Supreme Court of New Jersey.  Moreover, in giving back to his community, he has also had to privilege of being his kids' soccer, baseball and basketball coach, he served as a board member of Somerset Hills YMCA, Berna FC, BNI and was a member of the Bernards Township Regional Chamber of Commerce.
