Paul Garfield

Paul A. Garfield is a personal injury attorney and a partner at Davis, Saperstein & Salomon, P.C., in Teaneck, New Jersey. Mr. Garfield handles all types of personal injury matters, including those involving motor vehicle accidents, animal bites, brain injury, construction accidents, dram shop laws, slip and fall, trucking accidents, civil rights and wrongful death. 

Mr. Garfield serves clients in Teaneck, Hackensack, Paramus, Paterson and Wayne, as well as throughout Bergen, Essex, Morris, Passaic and Union counties. He has been practicing law for over 30 years and has litigated many major personal injury cases over the course of his career, obtaining substantial verdicts and settlements for injured New Jersey residents and their families. 

After earning a bachelor’s degree in finance from Trenton State College, now known as the College of New Jersey, Mr. Garfield graduated with honors in taxation from Rutgers Law School in Camden. He holds a license to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and he is a certified civil trial attorney by the Supreme Court of New Jersey. 

After law school graduation, Mr. Garfield spent time working for a major accounting firm and an insurance defense firm. His background provides him with insight into how insurance companies approach personal injury cases, which he uses to his advantage when litigating cases on behalf of injury victims.

Active in several legal organizations, Mr. Garfield belongs to the Bergen County Bar Association, the New Jersey State Bar Association, the New Jersey Association for Justice and the American Association for Justice. He served on the Supreme Court of New Jersey Ethics Committee for District IIB and was a former arbitrator for Bergen County.
