Kevin M. Stankowitz

Certified in civil trial law by the Supreme Court of New Jersey, Kevin M. Stankowitz is a partner at Rosenberg, Kirby, Stankowitz, Richardson & Mathis. Located in Toms River, he focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury and wrongful death litigation, representing clients in Ocean, Monmouth and Atlantic counties who have been harmed by the negligence of other parties. The types of cases that Mr. Stankowitz has successfully handled have arisen out of truck, automobile, motorcycle and pedestrian accidents, construction site and other workplace accidents, premises liability and animal attacks. He has been lead counsel for cases totaling nearly $100 million dollars in settlements and jury awards on behalf of his plaintiff clients.  Several of these case recoveries were over $1 million dollars,  including a $2.7 million settlement for a client who suffered a serious injury after a motor vehicle crash.

As an undergraduate, Mr. Stankowitz attended Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where he double majored in business management and political science, receiving his degree in 1993. He then enrolled at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and was awarded his Juris Doctor in 1996. After graduation, Mr. Stankowitz served a Judicial Clerkship with the Ocean County Superior Court before joining a firm where he represented primarily  insurance company defendants in personal injury litigation. His defense experience has enabled him to anticipate the tactics that insurance companies use in his current practice where he solely represents injured plaintiffs.

Admitted to practice in New Jersey, Mr. Stankowitz is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit. His successes have led to his receipt of an "Excellent" peer review rating through Avvo.
