Joseph E. Ruth

Joseph E. Ruth is a partner at Gruccio, Pepper, De Santo & Ruth P.A., based in Vineland, New Jersey, where he provides legal representation to clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters. With decades of legal experience, he focuses his practice on insurance defense, personal injury litigation, automobile negligence matters, municipal court cases and driving while intoxicated (DWI) defense. Through both litigation and negotiation, he works to protect the interests of individuals, businesses and insurers throughout New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Mr. Ruth has built a reputation for providing practical legal counsel and dedicated advocacy in complex and high-stakes matters. Mr. Ruth earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in history from Villanova University in 1980 and later obtained a Master of Arts degree in history from the same institution in 1982. He went on to receive his Juris Doctor from Widener University Delaware Law School in 1985.

Admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania since 1987, Mr. Ruth is also admitted before the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit and the Supreme Court of the United States. He remains active in several professional organizations, including the New Jersey State Bar Association, the Cumberland County Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.
